From Neuron to Trillion-Dollar Capex

Terms of sale and privacy

These terms explain how to buy the book on neuron.bazyl.net and what happens to your data. They are short, because I sell one thing.

1. Who is selling

2. What is sold

The e-book “From Neuron to Trillion-Dollar Capex” in its English and Polish editions (“Od neuronu do biliona dolarów”), each as PDF and EPUB files. It is digital content, delivered without a physical medium. A browser, or any app or e-reader that opens PDF or EPUB, is enough to read it. The files carry no DRM.

3. Price and payment

  1. The price shown on the site (€7) is the final price.
  2. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and in Polish złoty also by BLIK; the methods on offer depend on your currency and country.
  3. Orders paid in euros or other foreign currencies may be sold through Link (Stripe) as the merchant of record. In that case Link issues the payment receipt and its terms apply to the payment itself.
  4. The contract is made when the payment has cleared.

4. Delivery

As soon as the payment clears, the site shows the download links, and the same link is sent to the email address you gave at checkout. If the link does not work, write to me and I will send the files another way.

5. Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU can usually withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content this right ends once delivery has begun with the consumer’s express consent before the 14 days are up, after being told that the right will be lost. You give that consent by ticking the box at checkout, and the confirmation is emailed to you.

6. If something is wrong

If the files are damaged, incomplete or otherwise not as described, write to bazyl@bazyl.net. I will reply within 14 days. You are entitled to have the content put right, and if that cannot be done, to a price reduction or a refund.

7. What you may do with it

Buying the book gives you the right to read it for your own use, on as many of your own devices as you like. The full files may not be redistributed or shared publicly. The free sample (introduction and chapter 1) may be passed on unchanged. The photographs in the book carry their own licences, listed in the picture credits.

8. Privacy

  1. The data controller is Bazyli Zygan (contact details in section 1).
  2. When you buy, I process the email address, name and country you give at checkout, to perform the contract and deliver the files (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Records needed for tax are kept for the period the law requires, usually five years from the end of the year.
  3. I never see your card or bank details: Stripe processes them. Data also goes to the providers the sale cannot work without: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting the site and files) and Brevo (sending the email with your link). Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses.
  4. You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your data, and to complain to the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) or the authority where you live.
  5. The site uses no cookies and no analytics. It only remembers, in your browser, which language you picked.

9. Changes

A purchase is governed by the terms in force when you paid. Version of 12 October 2026.
